Crazy fun to create Leaders

70kms from Bangalore, Pegasus Institute for Excellence was where the YPO teens met to have a ball of an experience and become young leaders. 35 teenagers from all across India came here to experience and learn from this programme. We did amazing stuff ranging from just simple rappelling down a 20ft boulder to building our own rafts from bamboo and using it in a lake as well. There was team work, trust, coordination and skill that went into completing each task. Other than these activities there was a serious amount of bonding that took place in this 2 day adventure camp. I left with 20 new friends when I began with just one known person. I learnt 3-4 things that will remain with me through my life and will hopefully help me in my career. Two crazy days for one heck of an experience.

F.E.A.R

F.E.A.R

Fernando felt a chill sprinting down his spine,
He held something in his hand,
And that something was mine.
Sweat trickled down his back,
Drop by drop on the floor.
He was escorted by my assistant,
Who then knocked on the door.

“Enter” I said, the handle turned slowly,
Revealing his face, which seemed a bit lowly.
I asked him “Why so sad?” with a smirk and a snigger,
I picked up the gun,
And wrapped my finger round the trigger.
I pointed it straight at his forehead,
I played with his life before he lay in his resting bed.

A ring was handed to me,
One that he stole a while ago.
It felt weird holding something given by a foe.
Then I figured why, he had given me a gimmick!
That made things only worse for Fernando,
Because that, made me sick.
BANG! He dropped dead, unworthy to be picked.

Red was his blood that he lay in,
But he lied to me, that is a sin.
Although, he did not fear consequence,
He had no FEAR within.

Small kid with big plans

5-6 years down the line you'll see my name stamped all over Harvard University.i have an idea that will fetch me a bundle of credits and thats one thing that will take me to boston. im going to green my community. its not been done by a thirteen year old and that slot is waiting for me. in a community of 3000+ houses there aren't garbage cans beside the roads. the garbage collected from houses is just dumped outside the colony. well atleast some of that is going to change. i will set up trash cans around the community and decompose the decomposable garbage from the new or the household trash cans. i have fixed up with a friend now all i need to do is talk to the big man and get the permission. there will obviously be a cleaner community and hopefully if possible we will also set up a vermicomposting pit where we will turn the decomposable garbage into khad(manure). its a plan which can make or break my harvard dream and hopefully the result will be positive.

my view on warren buffet

Buffet Investment Style

Warren Buffet, I believe, has the greatest mind in the whole world. He has done miraculous things with the money of the people who have invested in Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffet’s company. He has not doubled, not tripled but increased his investors’ money by ten times the amount they had invested. His logic is very clear, don’t look at the stock price but the position of the business the company he may invest in is doing. Whether they are doing their job well and that there is a chance for him to make a profit or not. This for me is a learning of a lifetime. I have made it my principal in investment as well. For a person like me who dislikes reading anything to the core it will be tough to go through dozens of newspapers and research on the numerous companies but to chase my dream I will make it compulsory.
